Sorry this is actually a late upload. I just recently learned how to create a collage (sorry so busy with work!) so now I'm sharing the before and after pics of my mason jar cozy in granny stitches, no less. Hope you like it...

To those who haven't been following my posts, this is a 5-gallon water dispenser cozy which I created using my crochet skills and some acrylic black and white yarn.

Well this cute customized creation is now with a close relative who has requested for it - for her house which has a black and white motif no less.

I enjoyed creating this since it's my first actual customized pattern, after being a mere pattern-follower ever since I started my crochet adventure.

It's somehow bittersweet since it is a genuine product of my creativity, and yet I had to part with it since it is a customized order which was actually a concept thought out by this close relative of mine. She just left me to experiment on what I could do with my crochet skills, and voila! This is what I was able to create.

Anyway, here it is now in its new home...

Hot! New Finished Project: Baby Beanie Hat with Ear Flaps

Happy Sunday morning everyone!

I'm uploading images of my latest finished project - a baby hat with earflaps for my grandson.

He's not really in the mood for a pictorial here :)

And no, I didn't use the wrong yarn color here. I used the thick classic cotton yarns in Neon Red and Khaki from Yarn Source Manila. Somehow, it looks like Pink and Beige but it's not.

At least my grandson gives me another excuse not to be able to finish projects... :D Just kidding...

If you had a model as cute as this little boy, wouldn't you be pushed to make more crocheted/knitted projects?

Project Finally Finished: 5-Gallon Water Dispenser Cozy

Hi everyone!

I'm really not in high spirits at the moment since I've been having really busy days with my online work. Yeah, it means having a lot of moolah after 2 weeks (as per oDesk payout sched) BUT I really miss HOOKING.. You know, creating things with my crochet hook :( (sigh)

Anyway, let me just look back at the last project I finished so I'll feel better...

See how pretty it is? Pardon my bragging but I'm really proud of my latest creation. It is fully-customized, combining a mandala pattern, some granny stitches and shell edging. It's a unique customized crochet pattern in black and white acrylic yarn which I created from scratch.

Showcasing my latest projects!!!

I can't believe that it's been almost 2 years since my last post! I've really lost touch with you guys but not with crochet, definitely. I just love crocheting, I can't stop!

Here are some projects I was able to finish during the "lull" in my posts...

The first is a "timba" hat. The second is an unknown pattern which I thought looked like a dreamcatcher in one of my fave colors.

This one below is a scrubbie which is just as small as an AA size battery.

This one is a shell-brimmed cloche cotton hat in light blue

 This one is a wristlet bag I made for a very good friend of mine.

Here are two views of the granny square blanket I made for my grandson. This is a fave creation of mine which really "brought out the lola (granny) in me" so to speak :)

And here's the most recent creation I finished, a crochet mandala!  Djaraaannnn!!!

And my cat just loves it!!!
